We're sure you follow a lot of accounts on Instagram with cute pictures of sloths. (Such as maybe this one here!)
Well, what about following the personal account of an actual sloth? You can do that now with the new sloth at ZooMontana.
The State of Montana granted $51,000 to ZooMontana, the zoo in the city of Billings, and the largest zoo in the state, so they could market a sloth exhibit. That goes along with funding from a local financial institution, Stockman Bank, aimed specifically at providing a safe comfortable space for the sloth, and a fun and educational exhibit for everyone to view.
Part of that marketing campaign is getting the guy (or gal) set up on social media. So, go ahead and give him a follow:
The other fun thing is naming him. You can make suggestions there on Instagram, or on ZooMontana's Facebook page..
We all hope Slothy McSlothface doesn't win.
Here are a few more posts from the-sloth-to-be-named:
He likes to say cute things too. A few quotes from his Insta posts:
"Hello, world! I’m a male Hoffman’s two-toed sloth, weighing in at a whopping 12 pounds. I’m just about 18 months old so bear with me as I figure out this Instagram thing. It’s exhausting!
Stopped for a rest today. I suggested my average of 18 hours or so. Director Jeff said 8, but that I can sleep on the road."
