While going back to school might mean different things for different people in these crazy times, the new semester is starting up, and that means teachers and students have to get the grind. Many teachers and many students are sloth lovers for the very reason that they like to take things slow and sometimes the demands of class can make that harder.
So, we have some sloth memes for a little humorous self-reflection and inspiration:
Who knows where this picture of a sloth in a classroom came for. We hope either it was made with Photoshop or with a professional zoologist caretaker making sure the sloth was comfortable. Regardless, it is a funny image. We can think of the sloth being so slow that by the time it opens its notebook, class is over.
We can certainly relate. Sometimes by the time I am ready to get started with something, it’s really already over.
This one is specifically for teachers, but students can probably relate. Sometimes we are envious of those people who recognize that they have something they need to do and they just get started right away. That just isn’t the sloth way though!
The same sloth image gets used for this one:
We can all use a little inspiration. Share this Pin with anyone who you think could use it!
This one is kind of inspirational too. You know, if you get off your lazy sloth butt and actually do what you need to do, you actually get some knowledge! Just kidding, but it is true that when you simply put your mind to it;.
When you are learning something knew and spend just a few minutes actually studying it, your mind really does change.
This one takes in some scientific observation about sloths and makes it a funny meme. It is true that scientists have observed sloths, who do not have very good eyesight, reach out for a branch and mistakenly grab something that is brown and green: their other arm!
So, if you are struggling with trigonometry or 19th century literature, remember that your brain is at least able to recognize the limbs of its own body!
Although we are all primarily sloths, sometimes we channel our inner cheetahs. Every now and then when we really want to get somewhere (or get away from somewhere) we can be surprisingly fast. Leaving class can be one of those times.
We know it’s not class picture time, but we couldn’t resist this picture of a smiling sloth.
